1. On-device media processing
Audio and video you select are processed locally on your iPhone or iPad. DeNoise Genie does not upload your media to a remote server for noise removal. Your original files remain under your control, and exported results are saved or shared only when you choose to do so.
2. Permissions
The app may request access to the microphone, camera, Photos, or Files when you use a feature that needs it. Microphone access supports audio recording. Camera access supports video recording. Photos and Files access lets you choose media or save results. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS or iPadOS Settings.
3. Diagnostics and app performance
Apple or the app may provide limited diagnostic information, such as crash reports, device and operating-system version, and general app performance data. This information is used to identify bugs, improve reliability, and protect the service. It is not intended to include the content of your recordings.
4. Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Apple may provide transaction status and product entitlement information so the app can unlock the features you purchased.
5. Support communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you include in your message, such as your email address and the details of your question. Please send only what is necessary. Support messages may be retained long enough to respond, investigate recurring issues, and maintain a reasonable record of product support.
6. Data retention and deletion
Media processed by the app remains on your device until you delete it through the app, Files, Photos, or the relevant system location. Diagnostic and support information may be retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. You can ask a privacy question or request deletion of support correspondence by emailing moncius.young@outlook.com.
7. Children
DeNoise Genie is not directed to children under the age required to consent to digital services in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DeNoise Genie evolves. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
